Drive™
Tandem frames can be retro-fit with the Independent Drive, but it is
a much bigger job than designing it into the bike.
(See drawing below)
You have to strip all the components off the bike - Weld the Eccentric
Intermediate Shaft Shell in place - Add the stub front derailleur tube
- Reroute the front derailleur cable - Touch up or repaint the frame -
Reassemble the bike

Recommended Dimension B (DIM. B) for 32 tooth crossover and 16
tooth freewheels or 34 tooth crossover and 17 tooth freewheels.
7.5" - 7.0" - 6.5" - 6.0" - 5.5" ( 6.0" highly recommended )
Recommended Dimension B (DIM. B) for 36 tooth crossover and 18
tooth freewheels.

Standard or Eccentric Body (If you use the Standard Body, you will need
to use front and rear bottom bracket eccentrics. If you use the Eccentric
body, you can build the tandem with one eccentric up front and a standard
bottom bracket in the back, like a conventional tandem.)
